I know it's been a long time since I've last posted, but I just wanted to give a quick update about my writing. I know no one is actually reading this, but at this point, I'm writing for my own benefit.
I am close to completing a children's picture book. I've also began writing the novelized version of The Seventh Daughter.

ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with this assignment. So sorry about The Stooges' page and the page that you created; both definitely seem worth virtual presence (to me). But the Wikipedia editors and other Wikipedia writers overruled -- that's the rub in any collaborative writing endeavor, unfortunately. (In your single-author writing projects, you have more control, which is wonderful because they both sound like really interesting projects that warrant large audiences! Good luck with them.)
I appreciated your work on this assignment, in part, because you picked an article to edit that meant something to you. I think that can push your investment and care to a different level. I also appreciated your work because you kept a detailed, interesting, and ongoing account of your work on this blog. It's my feeling that blogging about the work that you do for assignments or personal projects helps to think them through, along the way, and to fully understand their scope. As a writer, you might think about this kind of blogging as freewriting or daily journaling; I think about it in this way when I do it -- writing on the way to writing (sort of).
Finally, your reflection was very thoughtful; I could "see" your process in that piece of writing.
For all of those reasons, you definitely earned an A on this assignment. Great work, Brittany!
